The practice of binge-watching (consuming episodes of a series consecutively and on demand) has become completely ingrained in our habits. With a few rare exceptions, it has even become, in just a few years, the only way to watch series. But the viewer is only at the end of a long production chain. The entire television industry has been revolutionized by this practice. From writing and financing to filming and delivery, binge-watching has profoundly influenced the production of series all over the world.
