LET'S DANCE
Feature film / Comedy / France (2018)
Joseph, a passionate hip-hop dancer, refuses to join his father's company to try his luck in Paris. With his girlfriend Emma and his best friend Karim, he joins Youri's Parisian crew, a famous breakdancer, hoping to win an international hip-hop competition. But on the day of the auditions, nothing goes as planned: Joseph is betrayed by Emma and Youri, and the group falls apart. He is then taken in by Rémi, a former principal dancer turned teacher, and discovers the world of classical ballet. He also meets the brilliant Chloé, who is preparing for the entrance exam to the New York City Ballet. Orchestrating the unexpected alliance of hip-hop and classical dance, Joseph will learn to feel legitimate as a dancer and leader, and thus become an artist.
