On the trail of a serial killer, Adam, a hardened but admired cop, miraculously survives after being shot in the head. His only lasting effect is amnesia. During his convalescence, he tries to discover who he is and who tried to kill him. When he finds a young woman tied up and terrified in his basement, Adam is confronted with the most terrifying doubt of all: what if the killer he's been hunting is none other than himself?
